PRESENTATION OF THE FEASIBILITY STUDY OF CCPP ZENICA
KTG AG guarantees that will respect all domestic and European laws and regulations in order to have the power plant which will be a model according to environmental standards
Presentation of the Feasibility Study of the CCPP Zenica was held yesterday at the headquarters of Zenica-Doboj Canton. The Study and the Project were presented by the Company KTG AG Lugano, Korona Slovenia and COMA Italy. It was communicated that by the March of the next year it should be obtained construction approval and that the construction of the power plant could be ended and put into operation in 2011, before commencement of the heating season.
Branko Montenegro, President of the Board of Directors of the Swiss company KTG AG Lugano, stressed out that the main goal of the construction project in Zenica is to enable the city of Zenica to enter into the European map as a future energy center.
Mosè Franco, Vice President of KTG AG Lugano, guaranteed that all domestic and European laws and regulations will be respected in order to create the power plant which will be a model according to environmental standards.
Pursuant the Contract, KTG Zenica is obligated to supply distributor with hot water, intended for a district heating system of the city during the heating season, according to distributors requirements.
The future power plant should have installed electrical power of 240 MW. According to estimations, this project should be paid off for five to seven years.
